• Role Job Description: The Senior Endpoint Engineer is a poly skilled technologist responsible for the design, development, testing, and implementation of management and security solutions for Koerber user devices, including workstations, laptops, tablets, and cell phones. The successful candidate must be a highly skilled and motivated engineer possessing extensive knowledge and expertise designing, testing, and implementing configuration management of user devices. The successful candidate keeps abreast of emerging technologies and is a fast learner.

 

• Role Main Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrates ability to successfully communicate technical details to an audience comprising business, technical, and executive staff.
  • Demonstrates ability to solve complex problems using divergent thinking resulting in innovative solutions.
  • Executes configuration management and administration of Apple, Google, and Microsoft OS-based endpoint devices.
  • Implements security configuration management through configuration profiles, group policy, software, and scripting controls as required.
  • Demonstrates ability to configure and provision light- and zero-touch workflows for workstations and mobile devices.
  • Experience using Bash, Python and PowerShell scripting in endpoint management.
  • Collaborating with other teams to provide effective endpoint management and exceptional user experience.
  • Software packaging and distribution as required.
  • Provides tier 3 support.
  • Experience working with virtual machines – locally hosted, AWS, and Azure-based.

 

• Role Knowledge & Technical Experience:
  • 5+ years Expertise in Unified Endpoint Management Tools (Microsoft Intune. System Center Configuration Manager, MEMC, WSUS), including Group Policy, Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Windows 10/11 OS and Office 365 Deployment
  • Advanced knowledge on OS, Software, and Patch Deployment (Windows and MAC)
  • Experience with Azure Active Directory
  • Experience with Autopilot and Co-Management
  • Knowledge of Conditional Access policies and rules
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting
  • Experience with cross-team troubleshooting efforts

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple simultaneous projects and deliverables.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Must be a self-starter with excellent time management skills, attention to detail and desire to continuously learn and expand knowledge
  • Experience analyzing, troubleshooting, and providing solutions for technical issues
  • Fluent spoken and written English.
  • Experience in IS risk, security, and compliance.
