Software Development Director

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Software Director to lead critical infrastructure initiatives in Physical Networking organization. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the deployment, delivery, and operational excellence of essential infrastructure components. You will lead a high-caliber team, ensuring the achievement of key objectives through exemplary leadership, talent development, and resource optimization. As the Director in OCI, you will provide leadership to a dedicated team tasked with overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of infrastructure projects within OCI. Your role will involve ensuring that the team's objectives are consistently aligned with the broader organizational goals, maintaining a strategic focus on long-term infrastructure stability and scalability. By fostering a high-performance culture, you will mentor and develop team members, creating an environment that encourages continuous learning and professional growth.

As a director of the software engineering division, you will apply your extensive knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and envision future improvements to the architecture.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $122,500 to $291,800 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
