Job Summary
The Technical Analyst will play a key role in driving automation of workflows, processes, and data analysis across the enterprise. As part of the Business Process Optimization team, this role ensures processes and system controls are designed effectively to enhance transparency and efficiency.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical acumen to implement best practices in solution development and continuously improve automation standards through repeatable and measurable processes. This position collaborates with both technical and business users across the enterprise while staying informed on emerging technology trends to optimize business operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide expertise, knowledge and insight to help the enterprise improve performance, grow by solving problems and finding new and better ways of doing things
- Provide governance expertise, knowledge and insight to help the enterprise scale our automation efforts
- Responsible for monitoring and building technical solutions using Alteryx, SQL, the Microsoft Power Suite and other technical tools
- Collaborate with team members to clarify and validate data requirements and business objectives
- Execute various system/license administration and audit functions in support of the end-user community
- Support the automation governance needs of cross functional project teams in line with agile principles
- Understand automation workflows and processes to find similar work across teams to streamline and accelerate development
- Develop talent by facilitating an established monthly Automation Community Gathering where business users share technical knowledge and automation ideas
- Serve as Pilot user for testing changes to end-user infrastructure
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge in area of expertise through proactive research and continuing education so as to achieve functional objectives
Education
- Bachelor's Degree
Work Experience/Skill Set
- 2+ years of experience with data analytics, workflow automation, and process optimization
- Possess intermediate technical skills
- Willingness to learn new technologies
- Ability to successfully participate on project teams
- Serve as a catalyst for change
- Solid time management and organizational skills to support multiple technical initiatives
- Possess high-level knowledge of data transformation/analysis, but do not need to know how to write code
- Proficiency in Alteryx, SQL, Python, Power Suite, Azure, Databricks, and other data management/automation tools, a plus
