You’ll be working in a stimulating, collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement and growth. You will work closely with data scientists and infrastructure teams.If you’re passionate about software engineering, excited by the possibilities of technology to transform industries, and inspired by the power of data to drive insights and smarter decision-making, we want to talk to you!  <h3>As part of the AI Labs team, you’ll:</h3> <ul> <li>Be an integral member of a cross-functional team in an agile environment</li><li>Develop platform capabilities to meet business and data scientist requirements</li><li>Determine operational feasibility of proposed solutions </li><li>Validate solutions using proof of concepts and prototypes</li><li>Effectively communicate complex technical issues</li><li>Write high-quality clean code (low maintenance, testable and performant) deployed in the cloud</li><li>Collaborate with the team to take advantage of new concepts/technologies</li><li>Collaborate with data scientists and MLOps engineers to build and deploy custom solutions in the cloud</li><li>Help evaluate open-source and AI/ML platforms and tools for feasibility of usage and integration</li><li>Continually learn and be relentlessly curious</li></ul> <h3>About You:</h3> <ul> <li>You will have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.</li><li>You will have 8+ years of experience developing commercial software.</li><li>Have a genuine passion and interest in technology and software development with a thorough knowledge of the latest trends, best practices, and new technologies.</li><li>In-depth knowledge and experience with Python. Experience with other programming languages is also beneficial.</li><li>Excellent debugging and coding skills. The ability to write well documented, maintainable and clean code with automated tests.</li><li>Extensive experience with Cloud-Native concepts and technologies. Preferably with major public clouds such as GCP or AWS.</li><li>Proven experience with containerisation (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes etc.).</li><li>Familiarity with ML algorithms, open-source frameworks (like PyTorch/TensorFlow) and AI/ML platforms (Google’s VertexAI, IBM Watson Studio, OpenAI ChatGPT).</li><li>Working knowledge of data engineering concepts, tools and automation processes and data platforms like Google’s Dataflow and Databricks.</li><li> Have good analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience gathering and analyzing information for the development of effective solutions to problems or situations. Can solve complex problems quickly.</li><li>Experience with rapid prototyping and Proof of Concepts using a variety of programming languages and frameworks.</li><li>Exposure to many different software frameworks and the experience to know when to use them.</li><li>Motivated and pro-active.
