Healthcare Strategic Consultant

What We're Looking For: 

The Healthcare Strategic Consultant is a senior leadership position responsible for leading major client engagements, ensuring delivery excellence, and cultivating long-term client relationships. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives across complex client organizations, oversee multiple project teams to provide strategic guidance and operational clarity, mentor and develop emerging leaders, and contribute to the growth, service line performance, and external reputation of the firm.

The ideal candidate will bring 12–15 years of consulting or relevant experience along with deep expertise in managing large projects and client portfolios. This leader must be capable of defining and tracking service line metrics, driving innovation and strategic direction, and advancing Thrivence’s market differentiation through thought leadership, professional involvement, and intellectual property development.

Responsibilities:

• Lead major client engagements, ensuring delivery excellence and long-term value creation.
• Build and sustain trusted relationships with senior executives across complex client organizations.
• Oversee multiple project teams, providing strategic guidance and operational clarity.
• Mentor and develop emerging leaders while identifying growth and learning opportunities across the firm.
• Define and track service line metrics, driving strategic direction, innovation, and performance.
• Maintain timeliness and quality of work, budget adherence, and utilization rates aligned with goals.
• Advance Thrivence’s reputation through thought leadership, conference presentations, and professional involvement.
• Develop and maintain Thrivence intellectual property within areas of expertise to strengthen market differentiation.
• Adapt quickly and respond effectively to project issues as they arise.

 Education & Experience Qualifications: 

• 12–15 years of consulting or relevant experience.
• Advanced degree preferred; recognized industry expertise and advanced industry credentials a plus.
• Deep consulting expertise with demonstrated experience managing large projects and client portfolios.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to develop talent and grow high-performing teams.
