Solutions Architect (PreSales) - Colorado (Denver/Boulder area) We are seeking a competitive, self-motivated individual to join our Solutions Architect (Pre-Sales) team. This pre-salesperson provides technical/functional/architectural support to both existing and prospective customers. Uses technical, influencing and relationship-building skills in working with vendors, partners and sales to ensure that optimum solutions are provided to customers. Assists Sales in campaign strategies. 5+ years’ experience serving in a pre-sales or related customer facing role.
High Performance Computing experience
Experience with tape libraries
Federal technology market experience
Strong planning and time-management skills.

Helpful:

Working knowledge of Cloud data storage.
Familiarity with data storage or backup software industry.
Working knowledge of NAS.
Working knowledge of backup and archive processes and methodologies.
Working knowledge of data migration strategies and use of scripting is a nice-to-have.
Working knowledge of storage arrays, networking protocols, and general connectivity in multi-platform enterprise environments.
Sharp writing, verbal and presentation skills.

Location: Colorado (Spectra HQ is Boulder, ability to be in-person at HQ when needed) Education: Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related business/technical field is preferred. Travel: This remote role is expected to travel up to customer sites, up to 50% of the time. Status: Full Time, Direct Hire Exempt Position Compensation: Base $124,800 - $149,600 + Commission Benefits: Spectra Logic provides a casual work environment, competitive salaries, and a compensation structure that rewards contribution and hard work.
