The Opportunity

Abbott is hiring a Sr. Procurement Manager - Logistics position within our Global Procurement Team working out of our Abbott Park location. This role with be responsible for the Parcel category space, including 3 of Abbott’s largest providers in Logistics: FedEx, UPS, and DHL.

What You’ll Work On

• Serves as the strategic lead for Abbott logistics across disciplines, divisions, and the industry, in collaboration with the Category Director.
• Proactively identifies opportunities for business and supplier process improvements.
• Drives global operational consistency across Abbott’s logistics operations.
• Builds and nurtures stakeholder relationships by acting as a strong business partner.
• Helps identify business-critical needs and requirements while providing both immediate and long-term operational support.
• Acts as a primary point of contact, alongside the Category Director, for overall business operational needs across the entire Logistics category.
• Prioritizes planned and unplanned demand globally across the logistics category.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance, or similar
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive, professional experience with at least 7 years in multi-modal international logistics.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous negotiation and contracting experience strongly preferred but not required.

The base pay for this position is

$127,300.00 – $254,700.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
