Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Cyber Awareness Training Curriculum Lead to drive our enterprise-wide cyber security education initiatives. In addition to traditional training, this role will lead the design, launch, and management of a multi-tiered Cyber Security Champion Program. This role is responsible for developing and managing engaging, role-based awareness content that helps employees understand and act on cyber security principles. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams to lead a dynamic training program at scale. A successful candidate will drive employee engagement, build a network of security advocates, and lead awareness initiatives that promote a strong cyber security culture across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Cyber Awareness Training Curriculum
- Design and lead the development of a comprehensive cyber security awareness curriculum tailored to various employee roles and risk profiles across the organization.
- Work with technology transition teams to translate complex cyber security and technical concepts into accessible, engaging content for non-technical audiences.
- Develop written materials, presentations, and multi-media training assets using tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint and eLearning platforms.
- Partner with security, IT, HR, compliance, and communications teams to align training initiatives with business needs and regulatory requirements.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
- Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, including executive leadership, to gain buy-in and report on program impact.
- Leverage data analytics and visualization tools to measure training effectiveness, identify gaps, and inform continuous improvement.
- Stay up to date with the latest cyber threats, trends, and learning methodologies to ensure content remains relevant and effective.
Cyber Security Champion Program
- Design and implement a multi-tiered Cyber Security Champion Program targeting different user groups based on roles and/or cyber risks.
- Recruit, train, and support a global network of cyber security champions across business units and/or technical user groups.
- Develop educational content, toolkits, and communication plans tailored to various audiences and role-based user profiles.
- Interlock the program with cyber security awareness campaigns, events, and activities
- Monitor and report on the program's effectiveness, including KPIs and engagement metrics.
- Collaborate with InfoSec, HR, Communications, and business leaders to embed security into the culture of the NBCU enterprise.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in cyber security awareness or training, preferably in a large enterprise environment.
- Must be conversant on cyber security awareness topics and technologies including Artificial Intelligence (AI).
