Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Staff Agile Technical Program Management (TPM), reporting directly to the SVP Engineering, who has strong technical aptitude, and experience of driving engineering driven enterprise initiatives in the Emerging Platforms space with an emphasis on automation, and the ability to influence leaders as well as cross functional teams that include engineers, product managers, business solutions and architects.

The right person for this role is not only passionate about "actions over words" but wants to be a part of shaping how our internal engineering teams deliver scalable, and consistent deliverables with the ability to proactively identify and mitigate technical risks throughout delivery life-cycle. The right candidate should be focused on proactively removing impediments from the project, communicating clearly, and reliably providing relevant reporting at both the team and executive level. 

Responsibilities: 

• Manage delivery of high-impact programs aimed at how emerging platforms (such as AI and automation) improve operational efficiencies for our engineering teams and product stakeholders.
• Lead technology focused discussions with senior leadership by providing valuable insights and recommendations that guide technology-based decisions in partnership with engineering.
• Translate complex technical information into clear, concise narratives for executives and stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making and alignment with strategic goals.
• Align stakeholders from diverse areas of the organization, ensuring unified project goals and successful outcomes.
• Ensure all technical projects are understood, documented, and progressing with complete and regular visibility of all timelines, status, progress, dependencies, risks, opportunities, etc.
• Ensure all work is captured, vetted, planned, and tracked within JIRA, according to established practices.
• Create, document, operationalize, and maintain technical program management processes.
• Act like an owner. Take initiative over found opportunities within our org and lead solution architecture through completion.
• Be an advocate, subject matter expert, and coach for agile methodologies and practices and their specific application to our technology and business domain.
• Identify technical dependencies and challenges. Evaluate and collaborate with Engineering Leadership to implement technical solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in a role demonstrating strong technical, operational, and analytical skills and managing technical programs, with a lens on platform development and experience with agile delivery.
• Proven track record in technical program management, ideally with experience in Generative AI, cybersecurity, privacy or data-driven projects.
• Proficient in creating visually engaging and informative decks and the storytelling associated with technical concepts to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
• Technical knowledge and the ability to contribute to technical design discussions.
• Comfortable working with all levels of the organization including senior executives.
• Proven ability to influence seniors and peers without direct authority; experience leading cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
