<p><strong>Industrial Electrician – Manufacturing</strong></p> <p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p> <p>The Industrial Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in a manufacturing environment. This role supports continuous production by ensuring all electrical, control, and automation systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes and standards.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems, including motors, drives, PLCs, control panels, sensors, and power distribution equipment</li> <li>Troubleshoot electrical and control system failures to minimize downtime</li> <li>Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals</li> <li>Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical equipment</li> <li>Program, diagnose, and modify PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs as required</li> <li>Inspect equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations and electrical codes (NEC, OSHA, NFPA, etc.)</li> <li>Support equipment upgrades, retrofits, and new installations</li> <li>Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to improve equipment reliability</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Document maintenance activities, repairs, and system changes</li> <li>Respond to emergency breakdowns during production hours or on-call rotations</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school preferred</li> <li>Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent experience</li> <li>Minimum of 10 years of experience as an industrial/manufacturing electrician</li> <li>Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems (480V/3-phase, motor controls, PLCs)</li> <li>Experience with troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment</li> <li>Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams</li> <li>Familiarity with safety procedures and lockout/tagout practices</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with PLC platforms (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.)</li> <li>Experience with BAS systems (Trane Tracer, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, etc.)</li> <li>Experience with Fire Alarm Systems</li> <li>Knowledge of robotics, automation, or industrial networks</li> <li>CMMS experience for maintenance tracking</li> <li>OSHA or NFPA 70E training</li> </ul> <p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p> <ul
