ABOUT THE TEAM
The Software Integration Team is responsible for building and maintaining a compute platform that enables end-to-end testing with ephemeral environments. This critical infrastructure serves both Anduril customers and internal developers, providing the foundation for deploying our advanced defense technology systems. The team plays a crucial role in ensuring Anduril's AI-powered systems can be rapidly deployed and tested across diverse environments, supporting the company's mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with cutting-edge technology.
ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our rapidly growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering the infrastructure that powers our Kubernetes-based software integration platform, making it accessible to end users. You will deploy systems across diverse environments (including different cloud providers and on-premise installations), build deployment and release tooling, own and maintain critical infrastructure components, and ensure compatibility between our platform and the infrastructure it runs on. This will require deep expertise in Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, and software deployment automation. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Design and implement infrastructure solutions for deploying our software integration platform across diverse environments
- Build and maintain deployment and release tooling to streamline software delivery
- Own and maintain critical infrastructure components in the software integration ecosystem
- Ensure compatibility between our platform and the various infrastructure environments it runs on
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand deployment requirements and optimize infrastructure solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and deployment issues
- Implement security best practices for infrastructure and deployment pipelines
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our infrastructure automation and tooling
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of 7 years of experience working with programming languages such as Go, Java, Python, or C
- Strong experience operating and maintaining production software systems
- Demonstrated expertise in deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters
- Experience with modern infrastructure-as-code tooling (e.g., Terraform)
- Familiarity with professional software development lifecycle using version control and CI/CD systems
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance
- Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with industry standard cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Experience deploying software in on-premise environments
- Knowledge of networking, security, and distributed systems
- Experience with Lattice OS or similar AI-powered operating systems
- Background in defense technology or related industries
US Salary Range$168,000—$252,000 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
