Title: Assistant Store Sales Manager
Reports to: Store Sales Manager
Classification: Salary / Exempt

Assistant Managers play an important role in supporting the Store Manager in the daily operations of the store. Associates in this role guide, direct and develop other team members to provide first-class customer service and offer solutions that drive sales.

What You Will Do

1. Assist the Store Manager in the daily operation and management of the store and team members
2. Ensure customers receive outstanding service in customer-friendly environment
3. Maintain adequate store staffing by recruiting and training new team members
4. Ensure inventory accuracy using tools like cycle counts, count corrections and factory returns
5. Direct daily merchandising, cleaning & aisle maintenance
6. Coach and train associates on programs, policies and special orders

What You Will Need

• Excellent customer service skills, dependability and time management
• Pass a pre-employment physical & drug screen
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Be able to stand & walk up to 8 hours a day
• Be able to lift up to 50lbs daily
• Operate a computer up to eight hours at a time
• Communicate via telephone and email daily

Associates should have at least one year of continuous employment within some facet of the company. Candidates with at least 3 years of management experience is preferable. Please check the attached job description for more details.
