What You Will Do:

  • Manage a variety of administrative tasks efficiently. Organize schedules, handle multiple priorities, and keep operations running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally. Utilize your excellent written and verbal communication skills to correspond with staff, customers, and external partners.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
  • 2 years of experience as an office administrator, office assistant, or in other administrative positions.
  • 2 years of experience with office management procedures and basic accounting principles.
  • 2  years of experience with office software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and office equipment (fax, copier, etc.).
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Collins Aerospace will not offer sponsorship for this position.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience with bookkeeping or basic financial tasks. Familiarity with handling budgets, invoices, and financial records is a plus.
  • Proficiency in project management tools. Experience using software like Trello or Asana to organize tasks and streamline workflows.
  • Knowledge of HR-related responsibilities. Understanding of onboarding processes, managing employee records, or administering benefits is highly desirable.
  • A strong work ethic and professional demeanor. Reliability, responsibility, and a commitment to excellence are key to success in this role.
  • A positive attitude and proactive problem-solving skills. Bring energy and initiative to every challenge, and strive for efficient solutions.
  • Flexibility and adaptability. Ability to quickly adjust to changing priorities and take charge when opportunities or challenges arise.
