Gundersen Health System is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for our 24-bed Neuroscience Unit.  This is your opportunity to provide specialized, complex care to patients while doing the work you love in the beautiful Coulee region.

What you will do:

• 0.6 FTE, 48 hours bi-weekly

• Weekday shifts: 4 or 8 hour day shifts (6:30am -11am; 10:30am - 3pm; 6:30am - 3pm) and 4 or 8 hour PM shifts (2:30pm-7pm; 6:30pm - 11pm; 2:30pm-11pm)

• Weekend shifts are 8-hour day or PM shifts (6:30am - 3pm; 2:30pm-11pm)

• Every other weekend and three holidays a year

• Provide LOVE + MEDICINE to our neurosurgery patients and those with other neurological disorders (i.e. spinal surgeries, deep brain stimulators, brain tumors/lesions, aneurysm treatment, lumbar drains, endovascular stroke treatment, seizures, post traumas, and more).

• Work with an interdisciplinary team of clinicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, social workers, CNAs, and RNs

What you need:

• Wisconsin Registered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

• Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from one of the following programs; American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 30 days of hire
