Navarro Research and Engineering is recruiting for an Architectural Engineer in Oak Ridge, TN.

Architect duties include field work, taking measurements, providing floor plans and equipment layouts, performing code checks for egress or other issues, providing their own CAD drawings, specifying paint and finishes, detailing windows and flashing, roofing, doors and hardware, security features, building cladding and project coordination.
Architect must be able to work as part of a multi-discipline team, sometimes taking the lead for layouts and design flow. Architect may be asked to provide labor estimates, bills of materials, or project planning efforts.
Architect will report to a mission manager in charge of multiple projects, so work will be variable and could have several assignments concurrently. Architect must successfully be able to milestone project schedule commitment dates and budgets while providing quality documents.
Requirements
Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering or Civil Engineering with a minimum 5 years of experience. Professional licensure in TN is preferred. Experience must be with A/E Project work with an emphasis on industrial design and building maintenance.
Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required.
