RESPONSIBILITIES

 

As our Global Senior Category Procurement Buyer, you will act as one of the leads of the category sourcing strategy.

 

The purpose is to support the execution of our sourcing strategy at a Global level in order to ensure vendors operate at the right service level while optimizing our Total Cost of Ownership for Coty.

The position is expected to be the main driver creating “value” (driving both bottom-line (savings) and top-line (External Innovation). In other words, the position is expected to deliver ‘Cost out’, ‘Value in’ and ‘Cash in’ for Coty and requires close cooperation with a broad group Coty business stakeholder, for instance R&D, Sustainability Head Office, Operations, Marketing and Finance.

 

Your main focus :

• Structure portfolio, run benchmarks, produce materials to turn data into insights for key stakeholders
• Design and implement sourcing strategy.
• Ability to drive projects running concurrently.
• Contribute to delivery of short-medium- & long-term category objective.
• Be an integral part of the Glass team to deliver maximum efficiency and value to business stakeholders.
• Partner with all Packaging / IPM population and leaders to select Global/Regional Preferred vendor lists for our Factories.
• Implement Supplier Relationship Management program and drive YoY Improvement and our sustainability agenda.

 

The team consists of 1 Category Senior Manager, reporting to the Vice President of the Direct Procurement Organization for Packaging and Raw Materials and 2 senior buyers reporting to the Category Senior Manager.

The portfolio will give you full exposure to our all Glass Technologies and different segments such as Fragrance / Color and Skincare business. All your colleagues are open, dynamic, supportive, collaborative and innovative.

 

YOU ARE A COTY FIT

 

You are results orientated, confident, transparent and possess strong business acumen.

As an experienced Global Senior Category  Procurement Buyer you will have the ability to work across different levels in the organization(across different teams) and feel energised from working in a fast-paced, diverse and international environment. Other than that, you:

• At least 6+ years of procurement experience.
• A first experience in FMCG/Beauty Industry environment; previous experience in glass sourcing is a +.
• Experience in working in an international environment and matrix organization;
• Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration or Chemistry Degree qualified;
• Master the English language on a near native level
