At NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester, our Physical Therapists use advanced technology and best-practice techniques to restore and maximize patient mobility. We provide one-on-one therapies that are tailored to meet the individual needs of our patients.  The therapist assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within their capabilities.

The ideal candidate will assist the Director of Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy Manager in the management and supervision of Physical Therapy services and programs in accordance with patient needs, professional standards and established procedures. Recruits, interviews and recommends new physical therapy staff to the Director and Physical Therapy Manager; orients and trains new employees. Appraises work performance of Physical Therapists and Rehab Technicians and recommends personnel action to the Director and Physical Therapy Manager; Manages coordination of speech and physical therapy services.

This is a full-time day shift position at our out-patient location from Monday – Friday between 7:00am – 3:00pm with occasional weekends and holidays.

Preferred Criteria

• Master’s Degree

Required Criteria

• Five years work related experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
• Knowledge of providing direct patient care to pediatric, adolescent, young adult, adult and geriatric patients
• Current NYS PT licensure
• Knowledge in Physical Therapy and Supervisory skills

Salary Range:

$142,100-$168,000/Annual
