Student Program Specialist

The Student Program Specialist carries out the daily operations of the Student Program, and they work closely with university representatives to coordinate student internships across the practice, including student onboarding and credentialing, and maintaining records. Effective and timely communication and alignment with PT Solutions Talent and Operations leadership and attention to detail is paramount to success.
Essential Functions
- Maintain database of clinical instructors, clinics, and students with guidance from the Manager of Student Program.
- Manage database of clinical site locations and capacity within each site, working closely with district leadership.
- Communicates student placement information with relevant stakeholders, including members of the Talent Team and Operations.
- Coordinate all clinical student internship placements with considerations for student preferences, clinical site availability, academic requirements
- Work with the Talent Team and Operations regionally as assigned to align on recruiting efforts, upcoming events, and local needs.
- Manage internal communications regarding student placement details, including clinical instructors, clinic managers, and appropriate members of operations leadership as appropriate (i.e., Director of District Operations, Regional Vice President, etc.).
- Oversee pre-internship student onboarding, including requirements specific to PT Solutions and any applicable hospital partners.
- Collaborate with hospital partners and compliance to ensure any onboarding or student requirements are up to date on a yearly basis.
- Coordinate ongoing education for student interns through the Thursday Call series in collaboration with Department leadership and other internal stakeholders.
- Manage swag delivery to student interns in collaboration with Marketing, talent, and operations leadership.
- Provide support and guidance to clinical instructors and operations leadership, and escalate when appropriate to Department leadership.
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills & Abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Windows-based applications.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and protects sensitive data
- Strong interpersonal, written & verbal communication skills
- The ability to work independently and in a group setting, with high integrity, reasoned and thoughtful judgment, a sense of urgency and analytical and intuitive skills
- Strong follow-through and results tracking to achieve measurable targets
- Superior organizational skills and ability to deliver tasks to meet deadlines
- Strong customer service skills, customer service driven, positive attitude
- Excellent time management skills
- Demonstrates proactivity and follow-through in all initiatives
Required Credentials
- High School Diploma or GED required; 4-year college degree preferred
