Nursing Faculty (Visiting Assistant Professor - 2 Year Appointment)

The Department of Nursing Science at Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame, IN, seeks qualified candidates for a 10 or 12-month position as a Visiting Assistant Professor to start in Fall 2025 for a two year period.
Qualifications
Applicants must possess a doctoral-level degree (PhD, EdD, or DNP). If the doctoral degree is in a field other than nursing, a master’s degree in nursing is required. Applicants must possess or be eligible to obtain nursing licensure in Indiana.
The successful candidate will have a strong experiential foundation as an instructor for both didactic and clinical courses. Teaching responsibilities will include classroom and clinical instruction and simulations. Experience with the use of simulation at all educational levels as well as with online teaching is desirable. The candidate will also demonstrate a commitment to the College’s mission and values, including diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice. Candidates are expected to serve the Department of Nursing Science and College by participating in department committees and student-focused events including simulations.
