Job Description Qualifications:

The Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Mid – Level or Experienced Escalation Procurement Agent (Level 2 / 3) to join our Customer Support team.

In this role the selected candidate will take on supplier challenges providing expedited solutions that enable our organization to support high impact customer orders. Candidates should have experience problem solving and identifying creative solutions to mitigate shortages. The team supports Commercial Spares Organization and therefore experience consistent with supporting aftermarket activity is beneficial. Maintaining a high degree of organization, sense of urgency, and passion for supporting customers will make a candidate successful in this position.

Position Responsibilities

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions

• Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements

• Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management

• Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance

• Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies

• Mitigating high priority customer shortages and communicating status to stakeholders

• Post award support including supplier follow up, supplier recovery, etc

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.  This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

• 1 + years of experience working with customer and supplier requirements to support program deliveries (e.g., planned versus unplanned demand, economic order quantity, resource planning, material type, manufacture or purchase, lead times)

• 1 + years of experience expediting the delivery of manufacturing parts

• 1 + years of experience directly interfacing with suppliers

• 1 + years of experience in a supplier management position

• 1 + years of experience negotiating and executing contracts

• 1 + years of experience in a fast paced environment

• 1 + years of experience in a customer facing environment directly involved in gathering requirements

• 1 + years of experience creative problem solving and generating alternatives

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

• 3 + years of experience working with customer and supplier requirements to support program deliveries (e.g., planned versus unplanned demand, economic order quantity, resource planning, material type, manufacture or purchase, lead times)

• 3 + years of experience expediting the delivery of manufacturing parts

• 3 + years of experience directly interfacing with suppliers

• 3 + years of experience in a supplier management position

• 3 + years of experience negotiating and executing contracts

• 3 + years of experience in a fast paced environment

• 3 + years of experience in a customer facing environment directly involved in gathering requirements

• 3 + years of experience creative problem solving and generating alternatives

• Bachelors or masters in related field (Supply Chain Management, Business)

• Project Management Experience

Typical Education & Experience (Mid - Level):

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience , 7 years' related work experience, etc.).
