Senior Test Engineer

<p>Connectivity is part of MN RF Interfaces. </p> <p>Connectivity Integration are looking for a senior engineer to complement the team. The person we wish to join the team needs to meet the cultural expectations alongside the technical ones. As a senior engineer we are looking for a strong technical background with the ability to take on specific tasks which we have listed.</p> <p> <strong>Main Responsibility Area:</strong></p><ul><li>Work with technical leader and fellow Senior engineers to solve complex integration issues</li><li>Perform HW SCT test card work at all stages including writing, checking and approving. Identifying corner cases.</li><li>Perform SW SCT test card checking and approval</li><li>Engage and participate in Task Forces for complex Pronto resolution.</li><li>Perform pre-investigation support as domain knowledge increases</li><li>Mentor and Coach for team members.</li><li>Prioritization of improvement tasks to benefit the team and raise quality</li><li>Lab work – Although the team is moving to a simulated and automated environment HW is still an essential part of the test methodology.</li><li>Review of documentation and confluence pages prepared by the Technical Leaders and Test Architect</li><li>Proficient with RCA/EDA Analysis and using the information to increase quality and reduce leakage</li><li>Writing and executing manual and automated tests</li></ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent</li><li>Strong knowledge of Python</li><li>Experience in ORAN</li><li>Excellent knowledge of software integration and system verification</li><li>Experience in development and testing under Linux</li><li>Fluent written and spoken English (your line manager will be an English speaker)</li><li>Knowledge of test automation/robot is essential</li><li>Knowledge of PrePITs, writing and test running</li></ul><p><strong>Culture:</strong></p><ul><li>We look for people who understand the basis of a high performance team and how to act when part of one.</li><li>We look for people to use their initiative and to move into spaces where the team needs them</li><li>We expect people to support each other and understand their success is measured by the team’s success.</li><li>We aim to minimize OT and weekend work however it is expected that on rare occasions it occurs the new team member will take their turn</li></ul> <p></p> <p><b><span>Come create the technology that helps the world act together<br/> </span></b><span><br/> Nokia is committed to innovation and technology leadership across mobile, fixed and cloud networks.
