In this role, you will support our Finnish projects in the Nordic cluster and focus on the HSE tasks in the HSE department and throughout the project’s life cycle. You will be ensuring that the highest standards of health, safety and environmental performance are documented, monitored and maintained. You will also be driving continuous improvement in all areas of HSE. In this role you will have the possibility to work onsite.</p><p></p><p>You will be part of a dedicated and skilled commissioning team within our Grid Integration business - Nordic Cluster (Finland, Sweden and Denmark). As a commissioning engineer, you are accountable for pre-commissioning and commissioning activities in our projects (e.g. HV substations for utilities, industry, data centers, etc.). You will also have opportunities to improve our quality and cost footprint by contributing to the base design platform, our commissioning and engineering processes, and tools.    </p><p></p><p>We are looking for a variety of people to join our team so don’t hesitate to apply even though you don’t meet all requirements. Since we are delivering a variety of interesting projects in substation business (within Finland, Sweden and Denmark, and some export projects also), this gives you opportunity to try and prove yourself in different engineering roles and to have a good balance between office and site works, travelling, and your private life.</p><p></p><p><b>Your responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Perform the testing and commissioning of HV &amp; MV Substations, including HV/MV switchgears, power and aux transformers, AC &amp; DC auxiliary systems, control and protection systems, etc.</li><li>Take part in pre-commissioning meetings, commissioning planning activities and documentation preparation (e.g. FAT documentation, Site ITPs &amp; ITRs, Method Statements, Control programs, etc.).</li><li>Organize and perform FAT of C&amp;P equipment in our test lab.</li><li>Follow the instructions of electrical safety and other HSE instructions in accordance with Hitachi/customer requirements.</li><li>Coordinate on-site commissioning activities together with Project Manager, Site Manager and Project Manager Engineering and other functions involved.</li><li>Support tendering by providing commissioning plan and time/cost estimation.</li><li>Act as commissioning leader/manager in particular projects, if appointed.</li><li>Develop entry-level engineers through the sharing of knowledge and experience.</li><li>Live Hitachi Energy core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for ourselves while caring for our colleagues and our business.<br/> </li></ul><p><b>Your background</b></p><ul><li>A Bachelor’s Degree or
