The Internal Audit team is seeking a Senior Associate to join a growing team. The ideal candidate has primary experience with SOX compliance, is knowledgeable in evaluating risk and is not afraid to bring a new idea to the table. This position will report to the Senior Manager-Internal Audit.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the execution of the annual SOX audit by conducting walkthroughs, controls testing, and conclusion reporting across in-scope processes (Finance, IT and Entity Level)
- Support the maintenance of the SOX internal control environment through regular communication with owners and updating process documentation, with an eye to control rationalization and other efficiency opportunities
- Coordinate with the external auditor on SOX goals for opportunities to improve reliance and reduce duplicative effort
- Support the shaping of the audit plan through risk assessment, audit scoping and program design
- Conduct end-to-end risk-based audits, from planning and fieldwork through to reporting
- Lead remediation activities, including providing guidance and strategy to control owners, and validating implemented corrective actions
- Review audit deliverables (SOX and other) assigned to third-party support staff associates
Qualifications:
- 2 – 5 years of internal audit experience
- Knowledgeable on SOX requirements with hands on experience in SOX execution
- General experience evaluating risks and audit program design
- Effective communicator (verbally and written) that adapts for the receiving audience
- Flexibility to pivot to new priorities as they arise, with the ability to manage concurrent projects
- Adept with Microsoft office; a plus would be experience with Diligent or another audit/GRC tool
- Degree in accounting; a plus would be achievement or pursuance of the Certified Internal Auditor license (or other field appropriate designation)

Salary Range: $80,800.00 - $100,400.00At J.Crew Group (JCG) we aim to pay competitively for our company’s size and industry.
