• Proven experience in Technical Product Management, especially in cloud-native or automation domains
• Strong Cloud technology working knowledge of Kubernetes, GitOps, CI/CD and CNCF product and ecosystem.

• Highly developed sense of ownership and accountability
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with solid written and verbal presentation skills (in English)

About the role

• Deutsche Telekom’s Technology Delivery International (TDI) is the internal service delivery organization for National Operator Customers. Within TDI the Automation & Orchestration Platform (AOP) Tribe is looking for an experienced Technical Product Manager (TPM) to drive the strategy, delivery and adoption of Cloud Workload Automation & Orchestration domain.

 

• Cloud Automation is a foundational capability for Deutsche Telekom’s and TDI’s strategy. Your work will directly support faster onboarding of workloads, reduced operational complexity, and higher reliability across TDI platforms, enabling TDI’s strategic goals like Radical Scale, Unbreakable Network, and Best Tech Team.

 

• TPM plays a critical role in advancing the organization’s business objectives through efficient, high-quality product delivery. In this role the perfect candidate is a senior professional who can independently lead technical domain with strong ownership and accountability.

This position is for you, if you are interested in the following tasks

Product Strategy & Vision

• Define and maintain the product vision and roadmap for cloud automation enabler areas, including orchestration frameworks, GitOps Automation, CI/CD tooling and Cloud Native transformation.
• Align strategy with stakeholders within and across TDI, including Group Technology, Telekom Deutschland (TDG) , and NatCos, focusing on cloud-native transformation and platformization.

User-Centric Backlog Ownership

• Gather user needs and pain points from NatCos, platform teams, and internal DevOps teams.
• Work closely with Product Owners to break down high-level EPICS into actionable User Stories with clear acceptance criteria and value proposition statements.
• Prioritize backlog items based on ROI, user needs and impact, technical feasibility and scalability.

Delivery & Enablement

• Collaborate with engineering and vendor teams to ensure timely delivery and technical excellence.
• Track and evaluate progress against defined success metrics

Stakeholder Collaboration & Leadership

• Serve as the technical and strategic SPOC for Cloud Automation across TDI and its internal and external stakeholders.
• Actively market existing solutions and product capabilities within TDI and NatCos to drive adoption and feedback loops.
