The Warehouse Associate I is responsible for the incoming and outgoing of materials, reagents, instruments or equipment to meet customer expectations which involve receiving, shipping, and inventory/material control. Performs manual and/or clerical duties that may utilize various systems / WMS involved in receipt or preparation of materials for shipment.
In this role, a typical day will look like:
Picking
• Pick items accurately to customer orders.
• Escalate inventory inaccuracies to inventory control team.
• Restock supplies as needed.
Packaging
• Pack quality products according to standard work and regulation set by
compliance department, ensuring quality product is safely delivered to customer.
• Pack hazardous and non-hazardous orders according to pick ticket instructions.
• Audit and inspect orders before staging and shipping. Audits include checking
for proper labeling and verifying that the documents match the cartons packed.
• Escalate inventory inaccuracies to inventory control.
• Investigate aged and missing orders
The essential requirements of the job include:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Prior distribution experience preferred.
- Skills
- Ability to problem solve and resolve minor problems.
- Proficient in using computers for data entry and utilizing Microsoft Office
- programs.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English is required. Bilingual language skills are a plus.
