What You Will Do:
Guidehouse’s Payer Provider Financial Solutions Area helps hospitals, health systems, and other providers control operating costs while providing high-quality care to the communities they serve. Our digitally powered revenue cycle capabilities enable staff to work across patient access, mid-revenue cycle, and patient financial services. We also provide deep EHR expertise and strategic managed care solutions to help clients unlock their full potential.
Consultants support project teams both on client engagements (on and off-site) and internal projects. Responsibilities will include client and project management, data and information analysis, solution implementation and generation of project results. As a Consultant, a key function of your role will be to support the development and creation of quality deliverables that support essential project workstreams. You will gather and analyze data, identify gaps and trends, and make recommendations related to baseline performance and structure, as well as established best practices and benchmarks.

What You Will Need:
Minimum Years of Experience: 0 years
Minimum Degree Status: Undergraduate Degree (Must still be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program through Fall 2024 and graduate by Summer 2025)

What Would Be Nice To Have:
Degree concentration in Business, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Economics, Finance, Health Administration, Health Informatics, Health Management, or similar is preferred
Previous strategy consulting experience is preferred
Healthcare provider or fellowship experience and/or education in health economics is strongly desired
Knowledge of Business Analytics software Access, SAS or R, and/or SQL
Strong knowledge of and application of healthcare research resources
Understanding of market/financial analysis in context of healthcare provider needs
Strong quantitative and organizational skills
Must be able to demonstrate written and oral communication and presentation skills
Excellent quantitative analysis skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Ability to translate data into graphic or visual representations
Heavy travel (east coast to west coast) may be required, depending on client assignment
