You will be supporting the development, and maintenance of our modern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solution in our environment. These environments, a mix of servers, workstations, storage, networks, and custom hardware, provide the enterprise hybrid-cloud backbone for product development and testing for a large Project producing a critical, strategic national asset. This will include a mixture of hands-on keyboard engineering work as well as documentation and baseline control.

The Infrastructure DevOps/IaC Engineer will be well versed in the use of tools such as Ansible and Terraform to implement and support the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solution for our programs. 

NOTE: This position will be onsite in Richardson TX.

What You Will Do

• You will leverage company and industry best practices and capabilities to assist with deployment, implementation, modernization, and support of IaC solutions
• You will support software tool customization and automation including deployment of templates, dashboards, and scripts to support program needs utilizing Ansible Playbooks
• You will assist with integration of the selected platform provisioning tool such as Terraform/VMWare
• You will assist with design/architecture/development and support of build/test pipeline and integration, optimizing for performance and scalability across on premise computing environments
• You will assist engineers with specialized tool usage and issues, leveraging standards and best practices towards the solution

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Physics and 2+ years of related work experience
• Experience with Ansible automation frameworks
• Experience with Linux System Administration (E.g. RHEL 6.0+)
• Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CICD Pipelines tools (E.g. Jira / Jira Service Management, Confluence, Bit Bucket, Jenkins, Artifactory)
• A current TS/SCI with a CI Poly Security Clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer

• Implementing Scaled Agile Frameworks
• Container development and orchestration (E.g. Kubernetes/Docker)
• VM provisioning (E.g. VMWare / Vsphere)
• Experience with programming languages (E.g. Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, Go)
• Experience with scanning tools (E.g. Nessus, Fortify)
• General working knowledge of networks, storage, and virtualization
• Background in COTS/FOSS product installation, configuration, and integration
• Experience with Agile Development Methodologies (E.g. scrum, SAFe)
• Experience with code repository systems (E.g. ClearCase, Bit Bucket)
• Current CompTIA Security+ or ability to obtain
