OnsiteThis is an Industrial Engineer Technician position in Operations in Melbourne, Florida. The selected candidate will provide assistance to Industrial Engineering, Test Engineering and Design Engineers. This includes performing a variety of functions in the development, implementation and revision of Manufacturing Engineering processes and procedures. The position will have daily interface with Production teams to understand and provide solutions to tactical and strategic production build and test issues.
What You Will Do:
Develops and maintains eView work instructions in a manner that provides production personnel with the ability to build high quality products efficiently and effectively
Prepares and adds value to change control
Creates, executes, and closes Run and Holds
Provides basic technical support and resolves routine problems of limited scope and complexity.
Follows established policies and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. Contributions are usually limited to task-related activities.
Creates and maintains the master route sequences and BOM data in CSI.
Needs assistance with interpreting engineer drawings/specs to develop and maintain assembly line work instructions.
Assists with and/or generates Run and Holds along with reviewing ECOs to ensure they are acceptable for production incorporation.
Demonstrates a sense of urgency and adaptive response to challenges.
Provides general operator support
What You Will Learn:
Gain a basic understanding of continuous improvement and root cause analysis
Gain knowledge by interfacing with design engineering on incorporating changes to the designs which improve manufacturability.
Qualifications You Must Have:
HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here:
