Position Summary

The focus of this Washington, D.C. based Senior Territory Manager, Interventional Urology is to establish, build, and maintain professional relationships with KOLs and effectively communicate the The UroLift System and Barrigel Rectal Spacer value propositions within Teleflex’s Interventional Urology portfolio. This position partners with cross-functional teams to communicate current market conditions and develop accounts to adopt The UroLift System and Barrigel Rectal Spacer products. This position requires thorough knowledge of the Urology field, ability to launch disruptive technologies, and strong motivation to over-deliver revenue versus sales plan.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Consistently meet /exceed quarterly sales quotas for the defined area for products.
  • Develop and maintain monthly/quarterly territory plans outlining sales objectives & areas of opportunity.
  • Provide accurate monthly forecasts.
  • Effectively communicate the value propositions of products to customers.
  • Identify, train, &  develop accounts to integrate both products into their urology practices. 
  • Stay abreast of current market conditions & recommend enhancements.
  • Collaborate with the Professional Education for products to deliver comprehensive clinical training support to physicians.
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with key customers & KOLs.
  • Collaborate closely with the RSMs, Sales teams, & Marketing teams for products to prioritize customers for strategic corporate relationships.
  • Work in partnership with the Customer Service teams for products to exceed customer expectations.
  • Ensure timely completion and submission of all required sales reporting forms for both product lines in collaboration with the RSMs , Finance teams.
  • Provide assistance in addressing product complaints & safety issues for products.
  • Establish and maintain necessary credentials to work in hospitals and medical facilities as required by facility requirements for both product lines.
  • Manage travel & expenses within the approved budget for products.

Education / Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of related experience in the medical device industry, with a strong understanding of urology products and procedures.

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

  • Operating room experience is essential.

  • Demonstrated ability to exceed revenue targets consistently.
