Traveling Field Service Technician (Machine Repair)

Key Responsibilities:Installation and Setup:Install and configure according to manufacturer specifications and customer requirements.Test equipment functionality and ensure proper operation before leaving customer site.Maintenance and Repairs:Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to identify and address any issues proactively.Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform repairs as needed, either onsite or remotely.Customer Support:Provide technical support and assistance to customers, answering questions and resolving issues promptly and professionally.Maintain regular communication with customers to ensure their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.Documentation and Reporting:Complete service reports, work orders, and other documentation accurately and in a timely manner.Document all service activities, including repairs, replacements, and customer interactions, using our internal systems.Safety and Compliance:Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working onsite and driving company vehicles.Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations at all times.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.2+ years of experience in a similar field service role, preferably in [industry/sector].Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach to service delivery.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaborate effectively with team members.Valid driver's license and clean driving record; willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
