AAA Recruiting Intern

Position Objective:

The Recruiting Intern will work closely with the Recruiter(s) and hiring managers to fill open positions. They will support their efforts to source talent and engage with job candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure it runs smoothly.

Essential Functions:

• Post job requisitions openings to job boards, social media, school career pages
• Refresh job postings weekly
• Screen resumes for industry experience per the job description
• Initiates prescreening assessments to prospective job candidates 
• Schedules phone interviews for recruiter as needed. 
• Assists in “Mining” passive candidates from various sources to fill open positions
• Assist in clean-up/maintain Applicant Tracking System recruiting platform for accurate analytics 
• Ensure all data is pulled from Paylocity 
• Ensure parsing / field population accurately 
• Assist in creating a fully functional talent management system for future prospecting.
• Ensure past candidates are tagged properly for quick contact.
• Assists in clerical tasks such as maintaining requisitions list, new hire list, and terminations list, etc to establish accurate KPI/metrics for recruitment
• Follows up with candidates during the recruitment process, maintains candidate satisfaction survey for candidates not hired, and ensures the new hire is happy in their new role.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma/GED. College degree preferred 
• Must possess a valid US Drivers License and be insurable on Company insurance policy
• Prior recruiting admin experience preferred 

Knowledge & Skills:

• Ability to communicate with candidates via email, text, or phone call 
• Excellent communication and persuasion skills
• Organization Skills
• Math Skills: Must know how to perform basic math functions using a calculator. 

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• This job operates in a normal office environment
• Operates normal office equipment: computer, keyboard, mouse, etc. 
• Must possess a current valid driver's license and have a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
