The Senior Group Risk Analyst, Third Party Risk Management provides a broad range of research, analysis, reporting, monitoring and/or operational process support within a defined area of function. Supports business by providing expert guidance/advice on a range of risk related matters within assigned or own area of specialization.
Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) is the management of risks arising from arrangements between The Toronto-Dominion Bank and Third Parties for products and services and any other business activities, functions or processes that could otherwise be undertaken by TD, or on TD's behalf. TPRM is the corporate business function charged with setting standards and overseeing the management of Third Party Risk within Operational Risk Management (ORM).
TPRM is responsible for performing ongoing oversight and challenge of the 1st LOD related to the health of the Third Party portfolio and execution against the TPRM Program, which may include segment risk analysis, aggregate third party risks, systemic, concentration and operational risk exposures from third party use. This role focusses on the ongoing monitoring requirements and governance of third parties once a contract is executed.
Key accountabilities include:
- Establish and set requirements for Ongoing Monitoring governance of Third Parties
- Oversee implementation of the Ongoing Monitoring Standard and provide guidance on requirements, where needed
- Oversee adherence to the Ongoing Monitoring Standard Perform independent review and effective challenge of the first line ongoing monitoring third party results, escalating as appropriate
- Provide oversight of 1LOD governance processes and risk assessment conclusions
- Provide aggregate Third Party Risk reporting to relevant stakeholders on the results of monitoring activities.

- Utilizes expertise to exercise sound and expert independent professional judgement and discretion in interacting and communicating with staff and senior management of the Bank with respect to regulatory risk and other matters
- Empowered to make prudent professional recommendations - in rendering advice and counsel to business lines or assigned area and risk which impact performance of the business and overall enterprise strategies and objectives

- Uses advanced methods to contribute to new solutions and recommends standards against which others will operate
