The position of Accounting Manager is responsible for managing the accounting functions for the managed, owned, and operated companies.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Serve as a liaison between Tao Group Hospitality and the companies for managed venues
Review daily banking for concerned venues
Interface with other departments to verify transaction report data and issues
Provide support for any special projects
Oversee preparation of accounts and reports for management, including balance sheets and income statements
Review vouchers, accounting documents, and records submitted by staff
Suggest improvements in accounting processes
Ensure that invoices are charged to the proper accounts
Compiles records of present and past operations, estimated and realized revenues, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred
Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls
Assist and/ or complete additional tasks as assigned
EDUCATION/WORKING KNOWLEDGE:
High School Diploma required
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
Valid Driver’s License
21+ years of age
Minimum of seven (7) years of Accounts Payable experience preferred.
Apply a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure
Great Plains experience preferred
Restaurant or retail industry experience preferred
Experience with Great Plains Dynamics a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

Proficient in Windows Microsoft Office, Oracle knowledge preferred
Must have strong problem-solving skills

Must be able to read the computer monitors and print legibly
Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
Must be able to move quickly through work and set the pace in the office
Must be able to push and lift up to 25 lbs.

Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to Company standards
Work in an environment that is subject to varying levels of noise, crowds and smoke, the severity of which depends upon the guest volume
May work extended hours irregular shifts, evening and/or weekend shifts, and holiday work may be required
Must be effective as part of a team; ability to interact with internal and external customers, managers, and co-workers in a professional, courteous manner
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Ability to handle a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment
