Collins Aerospace is seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer on our Avionics Test Engineering team.

Test Engineering will offer you the opportunity to work with an array of innovative test equipment solutions for Collins Aerospace products and programs.  Your work will serve internal customers, including our manufacturing and service centers, as well as external customers, domestic and international.

As a Test Engineering Senior Software Engineer, you will heavily utilize hardware/software development and debug skills on multi-rack automated test stations. Typical test stations include components such as switch systems, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, and other RF or digital-related equipment.

What You Will Do:

• Analyze requirements for hardware/software design and develop test solutions to meet those requirements.
• Troubleshoot issues with hardware and software designs.
• Review existing hardware and software drawings.
• Help create new hardware and software documents.
• Integrate a full test solution and verify test results are accurate, repeatable, and reliable.
• 5-10% domestic travel as needed.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Previous or current experience in a software engineering role.
• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
