Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the overall strategy and roadmap for TigerGraph Cloud DBaaS platform, ensuring alignment with the company's vision and goals.
  • Lead engineering teams responsible for supporting TigerGraph's cloud modernization efforts.
  • Oversee the design, deployment, and management of the infrastructure supporting TigerGraph Cloud.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality, scalability, elasticity, reliability, and security of the cloud infrastructure.
  • Work closely with product management and customer support teams to gather user feedback and incorporate it into the design and development of the cloud platform.
  • Champion the adoption of best practices and industry standards for usability and user-centric design.
  • Drive continuous improvement of infrastructure components and processes to optimize performance and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with security and compliance teams to define and implement robust security measures and controls.
  • Encourage and lead automation initiatives for public and private cloud databases.
  • Provide strong people leadership to empower, encourage, and engage the team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role driving the direction and strategy of cloud-based products or services.

Bonus Points:

  • Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, cloud infrastructure, and related technologies, especially AWS, GCP, and Azure.
  • Familiarity with graph databases, data analytics, and AI/ML technologies.
  • Experience in designing and managing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional user experiences and drive ease-of-use initiatives.
  • Knowledge of enterprise requirements, including security, compliance, and governance.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in Redwood City, CA is $230,000 - $250,000. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include, but are not limited to, the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc. TigerGraph is a multi-state employer and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
