Position Overview

Reporting to the Director for Alumni Engagement & Outreach, The Assistant Director for Alumni Engagement is responsible for implementing a data-driven and outcome-oriented strategy to increase alumni engagement with the University of North Texas. This role focuses on strengthening connections between alumni and the university’s academic units, and to promote a culture of engagement and volunteerism among the UNT alumni base.

The Assistant Director will strategically manage initiatives that support the development of a robust pipeline of volunteers, alumni leaders and donors. Ensuring the growth and vitality of the Alumni Association.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and four years of professional experience in alumni relations, engagement, donor relations, public relations, or sales; with at least one year in a supervisory capacity; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations verbally and in writing.
