Hardware Engineer I (Ft. Wayne, IN - On-site)

Responsibilities

• Generate ECOs/MCO/DEVs.
• Work closely with the configuration management team and help update BOMs per new commodity code structure.
• Engineering Escalations: Work with support to troubleshoot HW issues and configure systems to troubleshoot and re-create customer issues.
• Create documentation (i.e. HW MOPs) for internal use.
• Work with Tech Pubs on customer documentation.

Qualifications

• Understanding of computer hardware and systems, including customized hardware components and solutions
• Understanding of industry standard ECO and TCO processes
• Understanding of Agile PLM system and its requirements
• Familiarization with hardware product documentation
