Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Leader to partner with our existing team and expand our contracts, procurement, and pricing capability as eSimplicity grows. This role involves overseeing the corporate aspects of contracts, including expansion to new contract vehicles, maintenance of schedules, and compliance with all federal regulations. In addition, the role will drive strategic decision-making, own the transaction review process for new bids, and recommend efficiencies, including using contract management systems and artificial intelligence. 


Responsibilities:

  • Manage Multiple Award Schedules (MAS), Government-Wide Acquisition Contracts (GWAC), Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), and other best-in-class (BIC) contracts. 
  • Review contract terms and conditions, including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA), Teaming Agreements (TA), Consulting Agreements, prime contracts, subcontracts, and other corporate agreements. 
  • Manage small business subcontracting plans, develop frameworks for evaluation of vendors, and oversee purchasing functions. 
  • Lead corporate compliance activities, including contract reporting, Industrial Funding Fee (IFF) and Contract Access Fee (CAF) payments, manpower reporting, etc.  
  • Partner with Program Teams to perform risk assessments and compliance reviews related to terms and conditions, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and supplements. 
  • Partner with Business Operations teams to manage contractual backlog and overall contract lifecycle, develop proposals, and collaborate on pricing strategies. 
  • Partner with Corporate Teams on various initiatives, including technology partnerships, lease agreements, and IT infrastructure requirements. 
  • Lead process development and system implementations, including purchasing systems, and provide readiness for audits and reviews; contracts focal point for ISO, CMMI, and CMMC certifications. 

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or technical fields, including engineering 
  • Professional Experience:
  • Minimum of 10 years work experience with 5+ years in contract management roles 
  • Demonstrated leadership and career progression with the desire to grow skills  
  • Demonstrated experience with Government Contracts 
  • Technical Skills:
  • Deep understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations and supplements; ability to apply knowledge to proposals and contracts. 
  • Ability to manage overall contracts framework at a corporate level and manage related processes, systems, and tools. 
  • Ability to develop negotiation strategies and partner with executive management  
  • Demonstrated experience with purchasing system reviews and other Government audits. 
  • Familiarity with Small Business Programs and Joint Ventures, including mentor protégé agreements. 
  • Leadership and Communication Skills:
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. 
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Certifications:
  • At least one relevant certification related to Government Contracting 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in business or technical fields, including engineering 
  • Professional Experience:
  • 10+ years in Government Contracting or related roles 


Working at eSimplicity:

eSimplicity supports a remote work environment operating within the Eastern time zone so we can work with and respond to our government clients. Expected hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern unless otherwise directed by your manager.
