SUMMARY OF THE ROLE 
A Senior Network Engineer will be part of an IT infrastructure team that provides the backbone in ensuring the stability of our enterprise network infrastructure. In this role, you'll be responsible for implementing and supporting our LNG Facility location, data center, cloud, and satellite Brownsville office networks that are available and running 24x7. Responsibilities include providing advanced-level support on routing and switching, Palo Alto firewall, Fortinet firewall, Remote Access VPN, SD-WAN, and network segmentation. In this role, you will work with the IT Network Manager, IT Infrastructure Team in conjunction with the IT Cybersecurity Team, to ensure business continuity and service optimization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implementation and support of network and infrastructure deployment projects in IT and manufacturing environments.
• Engineer and deploy solutions for Cisco Routers/Switches, Firewalls, WAN, LAN, and cloud technologies.
• Provide advanced levels of support on azure networking with SDWAN
• Ensure and enhance the security posture of networks and infrastructure by partnering with global security and adhering to policies and procedures
• Research and setup network configuration management tools, monitoring, automation tools, and workflows
• Develop and maintain clear documentation of technical solutions and communicate plans to management
• Provide level 1 support through level 3 support.
• Support third-party and cloud vendors to protect corporate assets and data.
• Responsible for the implementation of approved network architecture and designs
• Integrates communication architectures, topologies, hardware, software, transmission, and signaling links and protocols into complete network configurations.
• Assists in the development and documentation of technical standards and implements approved methods of procedure.
• Contributes to designing corporate standards and developing network enhancements
• Works on projects/systems/issues of varying complexity surrounding network planning, configuration, and optimization.
• Provides support across organizations.
• Design and implement an enterprise wireless system.
• Deploys and maintains large-scale enterprise-level security services

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in computer since, a technology-related field, or equivalent education-related experience
• Minimum of 8 years of combined experience in the Networking and Cybersecurity domain.
• 8+ years’ experience implementing and supporting enterprise networks with SD-WAN and advanced-level routing
• Experience in building assessments and audits, including network cybersecurity and Risk. Also, remediation plans for physical and virtual environments.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Office 365, and compliance management tools is preferable.
• Advanced level knowledge in Palo Alto/Cisco/Fortinet Firewalls.
• Implement and troubleshoot S2S VPN and Remote Access VPN, Cisco WLC, Meraki.
• 8+ years’ experience operating a network; in-depth knowledge of network topology, subnetting, routing, switching, data flows, etc.
• 8+ years’ experience with Azure network integration and support
• Expertise with LAN/WAN routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VRF), including route redistributions and route-filters
• Hands-on experience in Network Protocols: HTTP | HTTPS | TCP/IP | UDP | STP | VTP | VLAN | DHCP | FTP | TFTP | VRRP | HSRP | SSH | Telnet | SSLVPN | IPsec | MPLS.
