Parts Runner

 

SUMMARY:

 

This position is responsible for providing in-stock parts, cost estimates, availability of out-of-stock parts, etc. to technicians, advisors and sales.  Responsible to assist retail sales store associates with the same kind of support for our customers.  Provide research on hard to find parts via all available means.

 

 

 

 

 

Interact daily with technicians, advisors, and sales.

 

Provide in-stock parts to technicians.

 

Research and provide parts information and availability as necessary.

 

Provide parts cost estimates for internal, retail and warranty requests.

 

Find and procure non-stock parts locally for specifics RO’s.

 

Search manufacturer’s web sites, online vendor catalogs, internet sources, etc. to locate and procure parts.

 

Answer internal and external phone inquiries.

 

Attend all company required meetings and training

 

Additional responsibilities as requested or required

 

 

 

 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

 

Ability to speak, read, write and comprehend English

 

Must have excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.

 

Basic math skills.

 

 

 

EDUCATION:

 

High School diploma or equivalent.
