The SAP Manager is a leading performer that manages end-to-end SAP projects, ensuring successful implementations and optimizations. This role will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing SAP projects within scope, schedule, and budget.

 

 

What you'll do:

 

• Develop detailed project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements for SAP projects.
• Lead the execution of SAP projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and milestones.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand SAP project requirements and expectations.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, risks, and issues.
• Manage the allocation of resources for SAP projects, ensuring optimal utilization.
• Collaborate with resource managers to address any resource constraints.
• Identify and assess project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement contingency plans.
• Proactively manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure the quality of SAP project deliverables, conducting reviews and validations.
• Implement quality assurance processes to meet project objectives.
• Perform other duties as needed.

 

What you have:

 

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• 6-8 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Technical SAP knowledge of: ABAP programming language, bapi, idoc, ALV, SAPscript, batchinput, smartforms, LSMW, job scheduling, implementation of OSS notes, etc. Technical knowledge of SAP authorizations, Java, SAP Netweaver, etc. is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience and understanding of ERP applications, system development life cycle, dynamics of applications development projects, and IT practices and methods. Knowledge of EAI / integration principles is a plus.
• General knowledge of SAP business processes & SAP modules.
• Proficient using PC.

• Temporary indirect reporting relationships may exist while working as Project lead. May be required to act in senior role, providing task related advice and direction to junior team members.
