As a Security Professional - Retail Bike Patrol in Bethesda, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail and mall location, including the business interior and perimeter areas.
• Observe for suspicious activity and report any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control and monitor entrances and exits as required by site procedures.
• Support a welcoming environment for shoppers and tenants while helping to deter unwanted activity.
• Document and communicate incidents and daily activities according to site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be able to ride a bike as part of their security-related duties.
• A valid driver's license is required for positions that involve driving and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Maryland Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
