Position Summary:
Director of FP&A will serve as a trusted strategic finance partner to the CFO and leadership team, driving the company’s planning and analytical capabilities. This role will be responsible for driving the FP&A function and directly support key decision-making across operations, commercial strategy, capital allocation, and M&A. The position will be responsible for delivering world-class planning, forecasting, actionable business insights, and proactive financial leadership that supports the company’s growth trajectory and evolving needs as a PE-backed business. The ideal candidate is a mature, detail-oriented professional with experience navigating complex financial operations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the budget, forecasting, and long-range strategic planning processes in partnership with CFO and business leaders.
- Develop financial models to evaluate strategic initiatives, capital allocation, operating performance, and M&A opportunities.
- Provide timely, data-driven insights on financial performance, connecting operational drivers to financial outcomes.
- Create and drive standardized FP&A processes, business intelligence tools, data frameworks, dashboards and reporting with a focus on scalability and efficiency.
- Enhance business intelligence and data visualization solutions to improve decision-making across the company.
- Drive development of monthly reporting packages for management, the Board, and lenders including variance analysis, key performance metrics. concise financial narratives, and value-creation tracking.
- Partner with operations, commercial, and other functional leaders to translate business drivers into actionable financial insights and enabling data-informed execution across functions.
- Engage with private equity stakeholders on strategic initiatives, working closely with the CFO to align financials with sponsor expectations.
- Partner with CFO to cultivate a high-performing FP&A team, fostering a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
Candidate Profile:
- 10+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years of FP&A leadership experience in a growth-oriented environment.
- Demonstrated experience in private equity–backed or fast-paced growth environment.
- Experience preparing financial reporting packages for Boards, lenders, and investors.
- Superior financial modeling and analytical skills with the ability to distill complexity into concise recommendations.

- Excellent communication skills and proven success as a business partner to operational and executive leaders
- Demonstrated maturity, sound judgment, and ability to balance detail orientation with strategic perspective.
- Proficiency in FP&A tools, ERP systems, and business intelligence platforms.
- Exposure to M&A processes—including integration planning and post-acquisition performance tracking—a strong plus.
- MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred but not required.
