Job Description

• Lead the team responsible for our car logistics operations in the German market.
• Manage daily transport and storage operations with both partner carriers and in-house capacities.
• Resolve escalation situations, including transport backlogs and storage capacity issues.
• Achieve our ambitious growth, cost, and lead time targets.
• Acquire new partner carriers and lead contract negotiations with C-Level involvement.
• Design the logistics network and processes to integrate new business lines, optimizing cost and lead times.
• Report directly to our Director of Consumer Logistics Europe.

Qualifications

• Several years of relevant work experience in logistics or a fast-paced startup environment.

• Initial leadership experience.

• Proven ability to manage multiple operational and tactical challenges under time pressure.

• Excellent communication skills with both internal and external partners at all levels of hierarchy.

• Experience in, or affinity for, contract negotiations.

• Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to solve complex problems.

• Native or near-native German skills, and English proficiency at the C1 level.
