The hiring range for this opportunity is $18.00 to $22.00 per hour along with incentive opportunities, creating a competitive total compensation package based on our pay scale, and may be modified by location and is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
POSITION SUMMARY- Branch Operations Specialist I
The Branch Operations Specialist is responsible for completing a range of centralized processes which may include: IRA and HSA transaction processing; Centralized Cash Balancing for all Tellers; Foreign item transaction processing; Documentary Collections for Treasury Management clients; Customer account research; Safe Deposit Box payment processing; Customer fee reversals; Official Checks, and Safe Deposit Box contents.
POSITION SUMMARY- Branch Operations Specialist II
The Branch Operations Specialist is responsible for completing a range of centralized processes which may include: IRA and HSA transaction processing and reporting; Bank wide Cash Management for all branches and ATM’s; Centralized Cash Balancing for all Tellers; Foreign item transaction processing; Documentary Collections for Treasury Management clients; Review of branch created hold notices to ensure compliance with Regulation CC; Receipt, processing, and payment of Legal requests against customer accounts (i.e. Subpoenas, Levies; Grand Jury); Customer account research; Safe Deposit Box payment processing; SSI/SSA account verifications; Customer fee reversals; Dormant account monitoring and maintenance; Escheatment reporting of all eligible Dormant accounts, Official Checks, and Safe Deposit Box contents.

• Posting Fee Reversals
• Customer Account Research
• Centralized Teller Cash Balancing
• Safe Deposit Box payment posting
• Foreign item processing
• Documentary Collections
• IRA/HSA transaction posting
• Assists other team members in non-primary assigned duties whenever necessary.
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
• Maintains knowledge of and complies with regulations that include but are not limited to overdraft protection, Reg E, Reg D, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Reg CC, privacy- Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) and Non-public Personal Information (NPPI) regulations, Information Security Guidelines, Right to Financial Privacy Act (RFPA), Identity Theft Red Flags, Unfair Deceptive or Abusive Acts or Practices (UDAAP), Financial Elder Abuse, OFAC, Bank Protection Act.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES- Branch Operations Specialist II
• Posting Branch Cash Orders and Shipments
• Posting Commercial Client deposits and orders
• Cash Ordering and Shipping to and from the Federal Reserve Bank
• Dormant Account monitoring and maintenance
• Review of Reg CC Holds
• Legal Request processing
• Bank wide Cash Management and Cash Vault reconciliation
• SSI/SSA account verifications
• Escheatment reporting to the State Controller
• IRA/HSA monthly reporting
• Cross train on other tasks to ensure depth of knowledge and coverage.
• Assists other team members in non-primary assigned duties whenever necessary.
REQUIREMENTS- Branch Operations Specialist I or II
• Ability to work in a team environment with moderate levels of background noise.
• Ability to grasp new concepts
• Understands Debit/Credit function or concept regarding transaction postings.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with both customers and colleagues in a professional and clear manor.
• Ability to follow established Policies and Procedures.
• Ability to communicate with peers in a positive, courteous manner with a genuine concern for resolving problems or concerns.
• Able to move from one task to another quickly and effectively.
• Ability to work independently with moderate supervision of daily work.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER SKILLS REQUIRED- Branch Operations Specialist I or II
• High school diploma or GED required.
• MS Office Suite and Windows based PC Operations.
LEVEL DETERMINATION
•Branch Operations Specialist I: 0 - 2 years of relevant experience within banking / financial services (preferred), specifically within an operational capacity.
•Branch Operations Specialist II: 2+ years of relevant experience within banking / financial services (preferred), specifically within an operational capacity.
