Boeing’s Human Resources (HR) organization is currently seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join the team supporting our Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) Global Supply Chain & Integration organization, including the BDS Supplier Quality leadership and team located in Berkeley, MO, Mesa, AZ, Oklahoma City, OK, Ridley Park, PA, El Segundo, CA, Everett, WA or Tukwila, WA.
The candidate will be responsible for partnering with senior leaders, managers and individual contributors across BDS Global Supply Chain & Integration. Our HR community is composed of incredible, diverse HR professionals who are driven by understanding and advocating for employees and are passionate around mentoring leaders.
This individual will provide high-value, coordinated consultation and integrated solutions to tackle business challenges, proactively mitigate risks and ensure our business goals and objectives deliver repeatable outcomes throughout our Global Supply Chain & Integration organization.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Experience with HR strategies and action plans, policies, procedures, and industry trends
- Experience developing solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation
- Experience creating and articulating data-driven HR solutions to senior leaders
- Experience developing winning staffing strategies and action plans
- Track record of establishing strong relationships through trust, credibility, expertise and business acumen
- Track record of leadership and decision-making skills with the ability to achieve results in an environment of ambiguity
- Strong project management skills
- Experience leading and coaching HR teammates
- High degree of Emotional Intelligence
- Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to be flexible and adjust direction when needed
- Capable and comfortable partnering with individuals with different views, statuses and cultural backgrounds to enhance positive solutions
Position Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with BDS Global Supply Chain & Integration leadership to create Talent Strategies that support Business Strategies
- Develop and deploy integrated Human Resources services, processes and data analytics that drive business results for the BDS Global Supply Chain & Integration organization, including:
- Talent acquisition – staffing strategies and action plans
- Engagement, development and retention initiatives
- Performance management and compensation
- Succession Planning and pipeline development
- Consultation on a range of HR-related deliverables
- Champion a culture of diversity and inclusion
- Enable informed, data-driven business decisions by providing robust workforce analytics, trends and consultation
- Establish strong, collaborative relationships with business leadership and colleagues across HR, including our Centers of Excellence (CoEs), based on trust, credibility, expertise and business acumen
- Partner closely with BDS Global Supply Chain & Integration leadership and other key stakeholders to develop a deep, diverse talent pipeline of current and future leaders
- Accountable for the quality and delivery of HR products and services by engaging other HR resources and centers of excellence as appropriate; influencing process improvement by working with others
- Coach all employee levels including management and executive leaders on behaviors and techniques to achieve leadership excellence and culture-to-performance outcomes
- Contribute to the development of a culture of equity, diversity and inclusion where employee experience is at the center of HR service delivery
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. Position may require domestic travel up to 10% of the time.
