Job Responsibilities and Requirements
Responsible for providing technical assistance to network users regarding various hardware and software applications. Troubleshoot and diagnose different technical issues, perform system administration for multiple in-house applications, and perform system code updates.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide technical support and training for on-site and remote network users
Delegate and handle tickets to make sure they are properly routed, worked and documented
Perform preventive maintenance, test and repair of computer equipment
Provide training to newly hired IT Help Desk and Desktop Support Engineer team
Assists with the resolution of complex application, hardware and software problems
Assists with the resolution of desktop network connectivity issues
Create support team documentation and maintain support standard operating procedures
Lead special hardware and software installation projects
Create and maintain batch files and scripts used for system patching
Undertakes additional responsibilities as required
Managerial duties as needed
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Related Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or equivalent relevant technical or professional experience.
Network + and/or Microsoft certification a plus.
Eight (8) years related work experience with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in desktop support, hardware and software installations and configurations, support of Windows systems and web applications, Citrix publish applications, VMware VDI’s, and related systems.
Firm understanding of McAfee client
Strong understanding of Windows networking
Advanced trouble-shooting skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as required.
Work location may be flexible if approved by the Company.
