Project Overview:

Bechtel Enterprises, Inc. (BEn) is the project development, project finance, and investment arm of Bechtel, the world's leading engineering and construction company. BEn provides a variety of services to Bechtel and its clients including project development, financial advisory, and financing services. Key sectors of specialty include Power, Energy Transition, Renewables, Chemicals, Water, Transportation, Smart Infrastructure, Communications, Nuclear, Transmission, and Mining & Metals. 

We develop projects, often with partners; provide sovereign and project financing services; support sales and acquisitions of projects, companies, and technologies for Bechtel business units; invest in the development of new technologies; and manage Bechtel ownership interests in projects.  We have developed or supported over 100 projects, representing over $100 billion in capital costs, and have helped arrange over $55 billion in financing for Bechtel projects.

Job Summary:

Within a team environment, the Associate Finance Manager works on a range of financing services assignments in support of all Bechtel Global Business Units. This includes exposure to our development work in the energy and infrastructure sectors including Power, Renewable Energy, Transportation, Digital Infrastructure, Smart Cities, Telecommunications and other related market segments.

Major Responsibilities:

• Screening and evaluating project opportunities, conducting due diligence, developing and analyzing potential financing, development, and partnership structures for Bechtel projects.
• Financial and economic analysis of potential projects, new markets, new technologies, potential partners, competitors, and M&A targets to evaluate profitability, risk, and other factors.
• Other financial analysis activities to support Bechtel’s business units and enhance competitiveness and/or mitigate risk.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Must possess a Bachelor’s degree.
• MBA or other related Master’s degree preferred, CFA considered.
• Demonstrated interest in Energy and Infrastructure finance.
• Experience in investment, finance, data analytics, project management, engineering, procurement, project development, real estate, infrastructure consulting, or construction is preferred.
