As a Naval Sea Systems program management specialist, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. You will lead the planning and execution of major projects and contracts, and complete tasks related to the planning, document generation, program execution, and tracking of progress in support of acquisition programs. You will coordinate with project leads, functional managers, NAVSEA Field Activities, Military Service representatives, and system providers in support of assigned activities. You will promote and leverage best practices across the program management office and assist with the development and implementation of complex acquisitions and program management practices.

You Have:
8+ years of experience with NAVSEA or DoD acquisition management
Experience working with senior Government staff at the Program Executive Officer (PEO) or Project Manager (PM) level
Experience with the development and management of program roadmaps, plans, and schedules to meet the goals and objectives of the Program Office
Experience with developing and evaluating defense systems acquisition strategies, performing analyses, and developing and reviewing documentation
Experience with advising on program status, schedule, and risk
Experience supporting multiple projects and activity simultaneously
Ability to use quantitative analytical techniques to assess system acquisition process issues and develop risk reduction and mitigation approaches for improving acquisition program planning, control, and execution
Ability to plan, communicate and achieve objectives through program or project team and demonstrate a willingness to both learn and teach
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree
Nice If You Have:
10+ years of experience with NAVSEA or DoD acquisition management
Experience with design, production, test, and sustainment of autonomous, unmanned, or remote operated systems
Experience with execution of acquisition and technology development programs, including developing plans or roadmaps to mature, deliver, and sustain new unmanned technologies
Experience overseeing a team as they plan, track and execute project plans from start to completion
Knowledge of US Navy Requirements, CONOPs, Resourcing, Acquisitions and Contracting pathways, including the entire PPBE pipeline, congressional lobbying processes, reform, and rapid acquisition processes
Ability to lead, develop, and scale a team
Possession of excellent organizational, negotiation, and oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
TS/SCI clearance
Master's degree in a Business or Technical field
DAWIA Level III certified in Program Management or Systems Planning, Research, Development, and Engineering or Contracting Certification
Clearance:
