Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Associate or Experienced Facilities Plant Maintenance Specialist to join the Maintenance team based out of Helena, Montana.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Facilities Plant Maintenance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of Building Management Systems and have hands-on experience with HVAC units and systems, including boilers, air handlers, chiller towers, and plumbing. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of our facilities, contributing to a safe and comfortable environment for all. 

Position Responsibilities:

• Basic knowledge of building codes, regulations and safety procedures
• Under general supervision, demonstrates increased skill level in construction to include rough-in and lay-out
• Is able to read basic blueprints and becomes familiar with building codes
• May be considered an apprentice. Under general supervision, provides general support in response to routine trouble calls
• Demonstrated understanding of customer service concepts
• Under general supervision, demonstrates increased skill level in the repair and maintenance of plant and office facilities
• Uses power tools under general supervision
• Under general supervision, uses hand and power tools to construct, renovate and repair facilities and equipment

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 1+ years of experience in troubleshooting electrical systems
• 1+ years of experience in maintaining Facilities Systems
• 1+ years of experience with facility/plant repair and maintenance (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, etc.)
• Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience working with Maintenance Repair Operations (MRO) facilities/suppliers
• Experience inspecting air compressors, vacuum pumps, boilers, scrubbers, waste treatment equipment and other plant support equipment
• Experience checking and recording gauge readings, oil levels, pH and ORP readings, and condition of V-belts
• Experience working from verbal instructions, work orders, demonstrations, and blueprints

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Associate (Level B) | Summary pay range: $53,010 - $62,500

Experienced (Level C) | Summary pay range: $61,200 - $64,600
